Here at McKays Kilts and Medals we take extreme pride in our work. When it comes to medals, only the best will do; we do not scrimp on materials and you can be assured of the finest workmanship. Please note:

Medal Mounting

• All Medals are mounted in accordance with JSP’s.
• We DO NOT use tape or glue.
• All court mounted medal ribbons are machined on to woven buckram and the brooch and Medals are hand sewn down.
• Medals can be either loose mounted or court mounted.
• All medals that come into our workshop are cleaned prior to mounting, unless direction is given not to clean them.
• We can also supply full size and miniature medals. Please contact us for prices.

Postage will be £8.50 for next day special delivery, delivered by 1pm, and insurance to the value of £1000.00

If you require delivery on a Saturday, there is an additional charge of £3:50.. This applies to orders available to be dispatched by Midday on a Friday. If you would like your order delivered on a Saturday, please select the additional postage option below.

NOTE: When ordering medal mounting, please list your medals, and the order in which they were received, at checkout. (there is an option to send a message to the seller) This will allow me to prepare the buckram and ribbons in advance of receipt of your medals, thereby speeding up the turnaround time. If you miss this (easy to do!), just send me an email and I'll get all the preparation work done to turn your medals around very quickly..

For Collectors: I can use your years of experience to mount your medals exactly as you want them. Please let me know what you require and we can work together to achieve this.
